Why the Winchester?

The Winchester Angle canopy combines a simple form with excellent function. Its shape is highly effective in small spaces easily blending into the side of an existing building.

Manufactured from either timber for a more traditional feel or Aluminum for a more contemporary feel - both materials provide a robust frame for the canopy to be fixed to.

  • The wooden frame - manufactured from combination of galvanized steel nodes and softwood timber, it is additionally tantalized to prevent rotting and stained to help protect the surface from airborne external damage. Minor cracks in the timber should be expected at the wood 'moves' either drying or absorbing moisture from its environment - the natural way that wood does. See our frequently asked questions for a guide to maintaining your canopy

  • The aluminum frame, manufactured as a complete unit from aluminum, is made from a box section frame, powder coated silver - to compliment the galvanized leveling foot detail and optional shelves parts. See our frequently asked questions for a guide to maintaining your canopy

Need to cover a large area? Why not have multiple canopies?

As with all our canopies - this design of canopy has been designed with modularity in mind - meaning that like sized canopies can be joined together at first installation to create larger areas of coverage. Your sales agent can go through the details of this with you.

Keeping Warm over those winter months!

As with all our canopies - the Winchester is supplied with a 1.3kw IP rated infrared heater. Motion activated with a PIR or push button timber operated, the heater provides warmth and comfort to your clients when they want it. Operating costs are around 10 p per heater per hour (depending in your electricity tarrif).

Installation

Each smoking canopy structure is installed by a dedicated installer. Before starting, the installers will confirm with you the location of the canopy to finally make sure that there are no unseen obstructions. If the secure level base is not in place, Smoking Canopies can install concrete pads to the base of each foot. After this is completed the canopy is then built and bolted down in place. The standard heater is added and any optional parts are also fitted.
